The Casamento's are a lovely family and we were blessed to have Peter take our wedding photos 22 years ago. Peter's dad - veteran press photographer John Casamento - has released a new book, 'Never Work With Animals Or Children' with all proceeds being donated to life saving research that will save children like John's grandson Noah. Noah was born with serious cardiac deformities, had his first open heart surgery at 6 months old, the 'Fontan procedure' surgery at age 4, and pacemaker installed shortly thereafter. John wants to show his appreciation for his grandson's lifesaving Fontan surgery, which allows Noah to have a full life with "half a heart". All proceeds of this book are being donated to the Australian and New Zealand Fontan Registry at the Murdoch Children's Research Institute / The Royal Children's Hospital, a special research fund devoted to complex heart surgery for children with serious heart defects. This not-for-profit organisation needs $200k a year to continue this special research.
