Nev, 3 4 7 10 11 12 19
3. What do you know about this character that s/he would never admit?
Nevlan really doesn't enjoy keeping secrets. In most cases, he justifies it by not considering it keeping a secret at all - just that nobody's asked the right questions.
4. What is this character’s greatest asset?
His title. Unlike some of the royals he's had the (dis)pleasure of dealing with, he's acutely aware of the advantages it gives him. However, he firmly believes that leadership is his calling in life, and starting out as a Prince gave him a strong step forward.
7. In what or whom does this character have the greatest faith?
Himself. He's been surrounded by courtier sycophants all his life, and has retained the same fierce independence that his father has instilled in all of his children. Unlike his sisters, however, he knows much - too much, maybe - about the importance of facades and misleading those who intend to mislead you.
10. Does this character have a vice? Name it.
Vanity. Nevlan's narcissism is well-concealed, but anyone who's lived with him knows his proclivity for getting lost in mirrors.
11. Name this character’s favorite person (living or dead).
Val. It's really hard not to be charmed by her, really.
12. What is this character’s secret wish?
That people would understand that he only seeks to do what is best for not just all of Elaria, but all of the East. Having to deal with obstinate Kesarrans and self-absorbed courtiers all day just makes that wish ever stronger.
19. What is this character’s greatest hope?
To see the East united.
