characters who want to be loved but will literally fight you tooth and nail if you even fucking try.
bonus points if they love you and will fight both you and themselves tooth and nail for even daring to feel feelings.
Wei Wuxian and Jiang Wanyin really sacrificed their golden cores for eachother and that’s a fact. Jiang Wanyin, unintentionally, thinking he would die, not lose his golden core, and Wei Wuxian intentionally, probably thinking he would die shortly after due to not having any idea how to hide it otherwise than literally going to his grave with it. I feel like it says a lot about their characters, more than I can really figure out personally.

What’s your take on the file “CAN YOU HEAR ME?” Do you think Monika actually looks down on the rest of the club members? Or is she just massively coping, trying to justify her actions against them?
Short answer : massively coping
Long answer : She HAS to look down on them. If she even thinks for a second that they are the same as her, then than means she has to deal with what that means about her. All the stuff she’s done. That she plans on doing. And I doubt she can handle that. I doubt someone that genuinely believes they’re in the right will go out of their way to prove to other people that’s the case. Because if Monika genuinely believes what she’s saying, why would she feel the need to explain it to us? Unless she does feel guilty over it, and she is trying to convince herself that what she’s doing is justifiable. She’s coping by convincing herself she looks down on them, making her actually look down on them. So in a way, it’s kind of both at the same time.
Anyway, this ask made me revisit the txt file and thus this was created :
someone asked me if pvpzam's crown meant he believed he was the crown prince of the tridents. and that's the interesting thing
i want to say that's what he believes. yeah, he's a crown prince, destined ruler to this civilization, nobody else has a crown, and somewhere in these labyrinths there must be a throne for him to ascend. he has to have some reason for keeping this crown of his- nobody else has one. maybe this is so ancient of a concept it's been forgotten by recent generations. that's why there's nothing indicating a royal family was ever present in tridentciv. but no, he holds onto it, desperately, as tightly as he may hold onto the eternal trident, his rightful property, as crown prince. but there's a funnier option.
just hear me out. what if he also believes the crown is a remnant from a past civilization. allow me to cook i prawnmise i'm good at this
