Rambling ahead

I have been moved from my cafe to another. The guys bench person moved and quit so he needs help. Apparently the one that offered her help started a lot of problems and kept running off at the mouth so they sent her back to her own cafe.

So this guy is chatting me up askin all them questions and we end up talking about my diabetes and my weight. I laugh telling him it sucks cause all my life I had been super overweight and NEVER GOT IT. Years after losing weight and I get it. Stress induced/genetics the doc says.

He stares at me. "You were overweight?" I show him a pic of me at 280lbs and he shakes his head. "That is not you!!" I had to show him a few others before he accepted it lol. "You are so skinny though!! Thats amazing!"

But... I don't feel skinny. I still see myself as over weight. Its always shocking.

He is also pushing me to get out and date. Lol I told him I know I can date, the problem is... I can't date. 🤣🤣 after telling him a bit about my last relationship he shakes his head with a sad look. "You are really strong."

Lol. No. Just stubborn and thick.

Sometimes I forget how much shit I have been through and then someone reminds me that shit isn't normal. Its normal to me.

But!!! He did compliment my spanish!! Which made me sort happy since... I feel I can't speak it very well. Hah

We also talked about our boss and his wife, the truck guys he gets. He gave me a run down about the cafe, need to know info which I SUPER appreciate. since previously he wasn't all to happy working with a franchise girl.

But he said I worked quick, clean, and my product looked great. I gave him shit about not taking a promotion and we joked the rest of the night. Learning new people is hard work.
