365 Days of TodoDeku Interest Post!
Hello fellow BNHA fans! It’s almost October and the perfect time to launch a potential TodoDeku event! A little bit of TodoDeku everyday makes the broken bones go away! *snicker* (*＾▽＾)／
What is this project about?
Inspired by the 365 Days of USUK and 365 Days of Mikayuu project, The 365 Days of TodoDeku project is going to be a year-long, daily celebration of content for Todoroki and Izuku, with works stemming from short drabbles, artworks, doodles, video edits, GIF sets and whatever else you can think of! Every day from the start of January 2019, a post celebrating TodoDeku will be scheduled onto the blog. The key to this event is to celebrate the beauty of TodoDeku, with the added bonus of connecting with others who love these two characters! (To get the gist of it, I highly recommend visiting the above links!)
So the event is about Shouto and Izuku?
Yup! Perhaps you see them as good friends, or ship them romantically, or love them individually. It’s up to you how you celebrate, and your content should reflect what you love about them! We want everyone to enjoy this project, so entries should be kept safe-for-work.
Cool! How do I apply and what kind of works are accepted?
Absolutely anyone is free to join, and in due time, an application form will be created for anyone interested to submit works for the blog! You are allowed to submit any type of content, as long it focuses on the relationship between Todoroki and Izuku. Other characters and ships from MHA are definitely permitted in your works, with TodoDeku front and center!
Potential rules for types of entries (open to change):
ART - Can be traditional/digital, a random doodle, shaded sketch or coloured piece. Go wild! Any digital size is welcome (the bigger the size, the better!) and traditional pieces can either be scanned or photographed. Comic pieces are allowed as well!
DRABBLE - A maximum of 1250 words, a little more or less. Don’t let the word count scare you! It’s only a precaution to limit the length of daily posts, so an extra hundred or two won’t hurt! If need be, drabble pieces can be split between two days!
VIDEO EDIT - A minimum of 30 seconds, it can be of any genre or type of edit as long as Shouto or Izuku are in it! These can be posted on YouTube as private links and emailed to the blog to be revealed on the given day.
GIF SET/SONG PLAYLIST - A minimum of 3 GIFs will be required, and 5 songs for a playlist.
OTHER - Do you cosplay? Maybe you have WIPs you just can’t seem to get rid of? You are free to share them here! Collaborations with other creators are definitely welcome too!
Okay! So apparently this is a year-long project. How will dates be distributed?
Entrants can pick a maximum of 5 days to provide submissions for once the application form is live. These will be randomly generated online and tallied so no same date is repeated. The aim is to fill up all 365 days of 2019! After the closing of application forms, your assigned dates will be emailed to you (via [email protected]). To submit your entries, you simply have to attach your files and reply to the email and the team will take care of scheduling!
Birthdays and Holidays: These special dates are up for grabs to anyone! Halloween, Valentines, Christmas, April Fools - they will be raffled off for anyone who ticks “yes” to raffle dates in the application form.
If I apply, is there a possibility of me not getting accepted?
Fear not, dear citizen! For there are no exclusions here! Anyone can sign up, so apply away!
Because this is just an interest post, deadlines will not be set in stone yet! Once enough interest has been generated and an admin team has been formed, then a timeline for the event will be fixed and revealed! :)
