Hello, my child.
It has been a moment since we have talked, hm? I do hope you are well.
I hate to only appear when I need something; however, I require the opinion and insight of a ‘hero’ and not only are you the kindest one I have met; but the least likely to arrest me for speaking my mind.
Perhaps you could spare me a moment of your time, informally?
— Doctor Jeremiah Arkham
Nightwing's burner phone has been holding the message for at least a day while the man himself has been getting unabducted. Now the vigilante holds it in his hand and thinks that he might have lost a little time after reading it.
The last time he'd missed a message, his little brother had been murdered. Why does he feel like this is the same? He's been taken for three days, maybe four? There's so much he could have missed.
[📱: Sorry for the wait; I can be @ Arkham in 10 if you still need the consult.]
He also texts Eleanor and Clint, letting them know he's making a detour to speak privately with a contact.
Even if the Doc doesn't need a consult anymore, Dick would like to check up on him and find out what the situation was. Hell, maybe he'll take the chance to talk to a professional about everything that just went down for him.
