New Queen

Info - flashback, rejecting proposal, being accused of witch craft, injury, ordering death, becoming Queen, possessive and protective Hal

Flashback

"You told me you loved me. From the moment I knew I'd be king I knew you must be Queen," he sobbed. He didn't often cry. I knew I must mean a lot to him if he was crying. I knew it was hard, the new responsibility, not knowing who he could trust, and leaving me, but my family needed me. My father had reinjured his leg, and mother was pregnant again. I couldn't do as Hal asked.

"Henry," I said carefully.

"Don't you dare call me that now that I'm king, call me Hal, just as you've always done. Please, come with me. I will pay for everything your parents need, they need not want for anything ever again and neither shall you."

"You know my family will not take handouts," I said, tears filling my eyes.

"So you're content for this to be over. You're content to see me rule and not stand by my side. You're content to see me marry another!" He was screaming by the end.

"I don't have the luxury of being content your highness! Some of us don't have the money to party constantly."

"Bloody hell, you're throwing that in my face?"

"Be a good king Henry," I said as I backed away.

"Don't call me that!" He raged.

It had been months since I'd seen him. He'd gotten a hair cut, and wore finery now. He walked through the town sometimes and my heart ached in my chest. I wanted to see him again, but not like this.

"Get your hands off her!" Falstaff tried to get me free.

"She's been accused of witch craft! She's going to the king!" The guards threw him off easily. I was dragged through the village as people watched.

"Agh," I was thrown to the ground hard and I knew my knees were weeping blood. I couldn't fathom what I'd even done to be accused.

"What is the meaning of this? Who is that?" I heard my Hal's voice. I wanted to travel back in time and tell him yes. It wasn't only to avoid this, but because I realized I wanted him no matter the circumstances

I heard powerful foot steps, and a gentle hand lifting my face to his. He blinked in shock.

"Y/n?" He asked.

"Your Highness," I tried to dip my head.

"No, don't bow, you never bow to me," he shook his head.

"Except on that one night in your rooms on your birthday," I reminded him with a cheeky grin.

"Beautiful girl, have they hurt you?" He asked with a trembling tone.

"Only a little-"

"You three, you are being put to death, by royal decree," Hal growled, before gathering me in his arms.

"We were just bringing the witch here so you could punish her, your majesty," one protested.

"You cannot try a future Queen for witchcraft," spat Hal.

"Future Queen?" One asked in shock.

"If she'll have me?" He turned to me. All his hardened armor fell off when he looked at me. "I'm sorry my love, but I'll never stop asking, you may as well say yes. England will have no Queen if it is not you."

"Yes Hal, yes, I want to be your wife, and your Queen," I said.

"Wonderful!" He said and spun me. Without another word, he pranced out of the room with me and to his chambers.

"Oh how I've missed you," he said, lifting my leg and kissing from my toes, to my calf, to the insides of my thigh.

"Tell me you've missed me," he begged.

"Every second Hal, every second."

Also everyone IGNORE the horrible anatomy, I was drawing on a whiteboard, but anyway SHE HAS ARRIVED.

And yes, she is going to get added to my AU immediately. I have a few ideas for her <3
