New Retainer
Closed rp for: @exaltbound Kamui had gone to the coronation, he'd put on the fancy clothes and the fake smile. It meant nothing though. Staring at the faces of his Nohrian family only served to make him feel even worse. With Xander's blood on his hands, as well as Elises, he could't even look at them without feeling nauseous. Leo wearing the crown now made him look so much like Xander it practically killed Kamui to think about it. So he hid from it all. He rarely left his chambers. He hurried himself in sheets and let his retainers bring him food. Recently a new retainer had been hired to handle him. Kamui couldn't remember his name, just the fact he wore so much blue he could practically be considered a synonym for the colour. Kaze didn't seem to like him much either, something about a sellsword not being worthy enough to serve as his retainer, he never really paid attention between his own half jokes about wanting death. It was only recently that Kaze had managed to convince him to leave his bed. They'd found a secluded tree to sit under every day where he could eat and get some light on his skin. If it was even an especially good day for him he'd get his blade Yato and trail his finger over the blade, wondering if there was a way to bring Xander back just from looking hard enough. Today happened to be one of those days. He sat in the shade, playing with Yato forlornly while his retainers stood by. Knowing Kaze wouldn't enjoy his self deprecating humour, he looked up at the man in blue, who's name he didn't know, and spoke. "If I asked you to, would you kill me with my own blade? Just for reference you know? Never know when I might need you to."
