the audio drama has a new quanyin scene, where young YY and 10 year old QYZ first become Shixiong and Shidi! it's such an adorable moment 😭 i did a quick translation of it:

YY: Do you want more dim sum? QYZ: I'm full now! When can I begin learning how to fight? YY: (amused chuckle) I have not even gotten your name yet. What's your name? QYZ: Quan Yizhen! YY: Yizhen. (smiles) From now on, you can call me Shixiong. QYZ: Shixiong… Shixiong! YY: (chuckles, smiles) QYZ: (excitedly) Then, will Shixiong teach me how to fight? YY: Alright. QYZ: (excited laughter) YY: However, you must remember: The key to the path of martial arts lies in diligent training and unrelenting effort. It is not something that can be accomplished in a day; rather, you must keep persevering ceaselessly. As a martial artist, one must take diligence as one's scripture, and hardships as one's teacher… (trails off into a lecture)

Another new scene has been released. Although it’s short, it does give a lot of info. Obviously, if you want to avoid spoilers, read no further and don’t watch the clip. :)

This confirms my theory that the qilin is in one of those cases and is necessary for some ceremony that Grindelwald is performing, since we see him in that weird pool with the qilin standing at the side in one of the trailers. I was wondering if it was some kind of pensieve, but now I wonder what else it could be. Definitely a major plot point. Now the big question - what the heck kind of ceremony is this for? Anyone have any guesses??
