Hey, Kate! 💖 I was overall impressed by your Sunny x reader fanfic where the reader had touch trauma, and I'm loving Light and Dark, so thank you sm for this! I have a similar request for a Sunnydrop x reader, if you don't mind 😄 Reader is a loner, love-starved young adult who just began working at the Pizzaplex. When the daycare closes, she meets Sunnydrop and basically she falls enchanted with him! Being very shy she absolutely loves his enthusiasm and all the attention he gives her. I just want to see Sunny brighting her life with the lots of hugs, friendship and cuddles she thrives for 🥰🥺 Sunny is just so excited to make her happy
Another cute request! And I appreciate your comments so much, so thank you! Enjoy!
Who knew that I would like these animatronics so quickly as soon as I started working here? I remember when I was in school, my friends and I would make fun of these animatronics. How stupid and childish they were.
But, up close, there was some fascination to them.
I started working at the Daycare center in the Pizzaplex, one of the largest pizzaria complex ever made. And it all revolved around the four main animatronics. Not to mention that this complex was for all ages.
Working here was a joy, and I'd rather stay here then at home. I didn't have anyone to come home to. All alone and...well.... I've never been in a relationship before.
So, I encouraged myself to find a good job. Maybe I could find some friends and someone important there.
A couple days down so far, and I haven't found anyone. Of course, there were kind coworkers, but never any that grabbed my attention. Or suited to be my friend. I tell myself that it'll just take time.
One night, I was left last to leave the Daycare center. Looking around before I left, I notice Sunnydrop jumping around. Sunnydrop was a very interesting animatronic. He's very kind to the kids. And watching him play around with the kids brought life to my heart.
I couldn't help myself but to walk up to him. Can he talk on his own after work hours?
But his head turning towards my approaching form gave me the answer.
"H-hello..." I shyly say to the robot. I really had no idea why I was so shy around a robot.
"Hi there, (Y/N)!" He jumps in excitement.
"Oh. How do you know my name?"
He chuckles. "You work here, silly! I know everyone's names!"
"I see." I didn't have anything else to say, so I turn to walk away. "Well, I better go..."
"Do you need a hug?" his question made me stop.
"A...hug?" I turn back to him.
"Yeah! You look like you need a hug!"
I stood there, stunned at his words. I wanted to accept his offer, but I wasn't sure how weird that was to hug a robot. Well, all of the children hug him. I nod slowly, walking into his open arms. As soon as my face bumped his chest, he instantly wrapped his arms around my nervous body. The hug was tight, a comfort kind of tight. He was made of cold metal, but it was so warm in his arms. I wanted to stay there longer in his arms, in the warmth. But the intercom telling all coworkers the last few minutes before closing made me let go.
I took a deep breath, smiling at the robot. "Thank you, Sunny."
"Take care now!" He waves me goodbye as I leave the area.
