Recorded live at Muziekgebouw, Amsterdam Meets New Tango introduces riveting new orchestral arrangements based on Ziegler's original arrangements for quartet.
Using traditional Argentine dance rhythms, including milongas, murgas and malambos, Ziegler distills the majestic flair and gritty urban swagger of a tango dance hall, bringing to the concert stage the sophisticated charm and elegant swing of a great dance partner. This special new orchestra program is now being offered for pops series.
