had a dream about a series of horror games and i lowkey wanna play them
summary below it’s long but good gang trust
it was kinda puzzle game ish but it actually lowk scared me (i’m usually pretty unfazed by horror stuff and this wasn’t that bad but i think the screen being my brain helped)
this family moved into a scary haunted house typa thing
lily (daughter) thought it was cool and scary but also was kinda over it
parents (lisa and rick) thought she was being overly dramatic about the scary things
they also had a cat (yall should give me name ideas for the cat)
until somewhere ass shit happened in her kitchen i think and i don’t really remember much about the first game but at the end they thought they’d defeated the evils so they continued living in the house
game two was more interesting, another family moved into with them, and i’m not sure if they’re like magic or into meteorology but somehow they were all connected to lightning like really strongly
they have two sons who’s names i can’t remember- wait hang on i think i actually remember their names and it’s like really on point lol- they’re storm and gale 😭 but anyway, they grow really close to lily. like, she kinda hates them, but she doesn’t know what she’d do without them either.
they also have parents but i don’t remember what happens to them they probably just die in the buildup to climax tbh
anyway, i think the house senses a new presence in it or something, because the basement gets weird. there’s something wrong with the floors, and you can’t step on them. (wait oh my god no they’re electric i just remembered) and, side tangent here promise it’s relevant, both boys resemble their names well. like storm is one of those jock boys who lifts and stuff, and wind got into acrobatics, so he’s really aerodynamic.
okay moving on- i forget what, but there’s something on the other side of the basement that they HAVE to reach (this isn’t from my dream but maybe it’s lily lowkey… i don’t remember if she plays a part in this later or not but i feel like she has to because… you’ll see- so maybe it’s not her hmm idk)
so wind volunteers to go first, because there’s heavy light fixtures along the wall, and he thinks he can make it across them (like american ninja warrior style lmao) but he slips because he lost his grip and is electrocuted, he dies on the spot after some horrific screams.
storm, blinded by rage and sorrow, knows he needs to do something to get to the thing and also to save his brother’s body. he jumps onto the light fixture, and another, and when it seems like he’s going to make it, it rips out of the wall. the light fixtures are sturdy, but this guy is nearing like 200lbs, not to mention he grabbed it when there was airtime force as well, cuz you have to jump for those things. it’s a miracle that the rest of them didn’t immediately break as well. storm falls and dies in the same manner as his brother, but in his last moments of consciousness, he grabs his brother’s hand.
the electricity turns off. the house has already made peace with lily and her parents.
the boys are cremated and their ashes mixed together, in memory of their bond.
then, the third game starts. this is about the time i woke up, but all i saw was lily, grieving, arguing with her parents, and missing her brothers. maybe the third game is simply lily going insane through her grief, or maybe it’s just about processing loss. in any case, i’m open to plotline recommendations for this one. and the other ones, because there’s scary things building up to both major events, but i can’t remember what they are.
so, let me know if you like it, because i think i’m going to write it. (oh my gosh i could write in video game format ooh new challenge unlockedddd)
also, i kinda really wanna have visual representation of these characters, so if anyone has art talent pls lmk if you’re down to draw them for me because i have no talent lol.

basically lily’s similar to prue mckeel and coraline jones and i love laika studios and storm is similar to that guy from paranorman and then i begged people to draw people for me because i cant hehe
