How I'm ringing in the new year as a witch for the first time

Cleaned my house.

Cleaned my altar space and rededicated it.

Added some homemade items to the altar as acts of devotion to Brigid (I learned to crochet!).

Created a new grimoire for the new year and all the things I'll learn.

Made a mini simmer pot (as in, ramekin on a mug warmer lol) with moon water, rosemary (cleansing), lavender (good dreams, good sleep, good fortune), cloves (good fortune), and orange peel (opportunities).

HOW TO FIND YOUR TAROT CARD OF THE YEAR!

For this you will simply need to add the number of the day and the month you were born to the year you want to check your card for and then add the digits of the sum.

So let’s say I wanted to check my card for 2022

Here is what it would look like using MY birthday which is May 19th.

Birth month(5)+ birthdate(19)+2022= 2046

You then add together each digit in the sum:

2+0+4+6=12

keeping any number from 1-22, with the Fool having the assigned numerological value of 22.

In this case my sum is 12 therefore my tarot card of the year is the 12th card in the major arcana.
