The first time I watched this which is last night, I almost spit out my dinner! While I’m waiting for Britain’s Got Talent to come back on the telly, I’ve come across this advert! It really catch me off guard! Most of the time, Halifax adverts are incredibly boring. Which in turn, I watched Top Cat on DVD today. I didn’t expect to see Top Cat and his gang surfacing on the telly again! I’d thought I never see them again. Er... scratch that, I’ll be seeing them at the cinemas next month in Top Cat Begins, after the Ratchet & Clank Movie, which will show next Friday.
Sometimes I wonder, where the heck did Top Cat and his gang got the money from to use it to jet off to my country and back to America? Also, I think they’re unaware that they need to pay back the money somehow. Once they had the money, I wonder where and how they exchanged British Pounds for US dollars? Not to be nitpicky, but I assumed Benny the Ball isn’t skillful with playing the violin and shouldn’t Top Cat call Officer Dibble, “Officer Dribble”? But despite these complaints, this advert really made my day yesterday! For once, Halifax had a commercial that’s worth watching!

Cif's new ad jumps on the Disney resurgence/Maleficent bandwagon with an expensive Michael Gambon-voiced version of Sleeping Beauty.
The ad sees Sleeping Beauty actually faking her sleep, waiting for her prince to rescue her. But, horror of horrors, the floor's mess. So before he can see it, be repulsed and run away from his damsel in distress, Sleeping Beauty uses Cif to give the place a good clean.
The ad has got mixed reviews to say the least - the more comical being those directing us to the phallic images hidden in the ad. Reviewers also point to the sexist undertone.
But if the ad was designed to spark an argument and get Cif some column inches, it's a success. When was the last time a cleaning product was trending on Twitter?
Mrs Carter herself Beyoncé has been featured in H&M's new advert for their summer collection 2013. It also features a new and unreleased song from B. Take a listen above.
