“Senufo” is a mural of the esteemed George Washington Carver and a female reliquary statue created by an unknown artisan, most likely, of the Poro society of the Senufo people. The statue is a representation of the feminine portion of the supreme deity, which provides balance. The overall mural highlights George Washington Caver’s relationship with Mother Nature and the dualistic character of the creative process. Finished collaboration with @eshaw_art coordinated by @chiefaziz for the emergent #NewarkMuralArts on the Bruce Carver Elementary in the Southward. Special thanks to @layqanunayawar
