Home Master model BS-12 band saw. I’ve hated this thing since the day I got. It wouldn’t cut straight when I wanted or curved when I wanted. I didn’t want to buy a new blade and waste the money in this bad saw. My wife convinced me to try one though. Woodcraft didn’t have one to fit so got one at HF. This saw cuts like butter now. And now for something completely different.

Those of you who read this, whether or not you care, should know that the shirasaya I wanted so badly over Christmas arrived today. When I opened the box, it was very dirty, but overall, it looked okay. Then I took a cloth and wiped it down, revealing a beautiful blade. This is easily the nicest katana I've owned. I know that's sad, but this one likes dangerous toys. I think I'll take some pictures tomorrow so people can see it.
