Immeasurable Distance

I feel small,

Wandering out of place.

Belonging in a place,

So hot yet so cold

I feel alone,

Hiding this disgrace.

Lying to survive;

It'll crash down in the end

I feel relieved,

Looking at her face.

Mimicking an angel;

Yet human in essence

I feel melancholy,

Realizing the distance.

So far to even behold,

Yet it chills me entirely

I feel excited,

Expecting to get a glimpse.

Wishing with all my might, that

I will see you that day

I feel scared;

Knowing for sure, that

Once I finally meet you,

I might never wake up anymore.
