idk i think it would be helpful for myself as well, like putting stuff into words that i haven’t really talked a lot about. but i am also scared of putting myself out there, obviously, because sometimes people are really mean. i don’t know. i’ll see what people say and think it over. i think i want to do it, i just need to mull it over for a bit first, think about what i’m gonna say and how to word it right.

15. things you said with too many miles between us
"10,571", Louis says when Nick answers the phone with a groggy greeting.
"What?"
"That’s the number of miles from London to Sydney. The website says ‘distance as the crow flies’, I’m not sure what that means? Maybe something like straight ahead but I feel like crows would have to detour and take breaks as well, right?"
Nick can’t help but laugh as he pulls his duvet over his head, yawning into the fabric.
"What’s that, darling? Missing me already, then?"
"I’d never," Louis replies without missing a beat, "did I wake you up? I was sure you’d be getting ready for the show around this time."
Nick laughs again, feeling sleepy and a little cold without his favourite boy pressed up against him. This is ridiculous. Louis hasn’t been gone for very long, how can he miss him this much already? They’ll have to get through months of seperation. It’s very likely that Nick will simply die.
"Babe," he says, "It’s Saturday."
"Oh."
"Pre-show nerves?" Nick guesses. Louis normally isn’t that forgetful.
"It’s the first show of the tour."
"You’ll smash it. You know you will. And if anyone says anything mean about you or the boys, I’ll anonymously say rude things to them on the Internet. How’s that sound?"
It’s Louis who laughs this time. Nick likes the sound of it. He doesn’t even feel annoyed about being woken up this early.
"Stupid. I’d rather you just promise me a Skype date tomorrow?"
"Your loss. But yeah, promise."
