A BJP leader emphasized that the newly elected MLAs received guidance on working effectively within organizational and administrative frameworks.
A day after the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) made a strong comeback in the Delhi assembly polls, the party’s senior leadership met with the newly elected MLAs, urging them to maintain transparency and swiftly begin initiatives for the city's development.
The BJP secured 48 seats in the 70-member Delhi Assembly, marking an end to its 27-year absence from the Capital, and ousting the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), which had been in power for the past decade.
On Sunday, the newly elected candidates interacted with Delhi’s Lok Sabha MPs, along with national general secretary (organization) BL Santhosh, national vice president Baijayant Panda, and state president Virendra Sachdeva.
A BJP leader revealed that the newly elected MLAs were given guidance on working within organizational and administrative frameworks.
“Senior leaders emphasized the importance of maintaining transparency in their actions. They referred to the key points raised in Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s victory message, urging the MLAs to start working towards a ‘developed Delhi’ without any delay,” the leader added, requesting anonymity.
