an “endogenic” system is essentially a system without trauma; someone who believes they’ve naturally produced a system without the defining trait of what causes a system in the first place

A - How many did you have?

Two! Probably normal dragonwings on my shoulders.

B - What shape did they have?

Honestly I’m not exactly certain as to their shape because they’re so large, but I know the membrane connected back to my body at around my hips (or even further down than that). I needed to actually get that extra lift to fly b/c I was very large compared to other flying animals.

C - Describe their material (feathers, dirt, silk, scales, etc)

They feel like... leathery skin, almost? Thicker than human skin but not quite as tough as leather. Thin enough that I get an icky feeling when I see other winged animals like pterosaurs getting holes ripped in them (which is one of the only times I ever experience empathy, btw).

I did have bat-like fingers extending down them to give them structure, and those fingers were likely covered in flat, thin “scales” like snakes have - nothing super tough, but not just skin, either.

G - Do you experience shifts?

Yeah!! Wing shifts are a little rarer than other shifts, though. With those limbs in particular, whenever I get a shift it usually feels like.... the wings are present, but they’re extremely numb. Like I’ve been lying on them for hours and can’t move them numb. That’s why I think its hard for me to discern exactly what shape they were.

Sometimes my arms shift into feeling like wings, too, but those shifts aren’t as common.
