Announcement: The event is officially over !

Thank you all for participating in the event  !

It took a while but I couldn’t be happier to announce that everyone got a present by now which means that the DCMK secret santa event '20 is officially over ! If you haven’t seen your present yet, check out this blog and search for your url ! Feel free to message me if you can’t find it at all. 

Now, I want to thank every single one of you for participating in this event and for being such a great community to work and enjoy the holidays with. I love hosting this event every single year and it fills my heart with joy to see all the beautiful creations you guys come up with. I hope you all had a wonderful time during this event and that you had a good start into the new year ! Again, thank you all so much for joining and I hope to see you again next year ! PS: Special shout out to all of you because we had the lowest amount of drop-outs ever this year. You guys are the best community to work with, thank you all so much !

Please message me if there is any issue with your secret santa whatsoever

Same goes if there is an issue with your assigned gift-receiver of course

❆ I can not finish my present in time !

Please please please please message me if you can not finish your present in time !

It is not enough to inform your assigned gift-receiver about this

If you won’t be able to finish your present for weeks/months prior the end of the event, please consider leaving the event instead of making me and your assigned gift-receiver wait

❆ I can not or do not want to participate in the event anymore !

Please please please please message me if you want to leave the event. I won’t be mad, I won’t ask question but I need to know to be able to plan this event properly

All mails have been sent out !

If you did not receive a mail by now, let me know as soon as possible !

I have officially sent out mails to all the participants of the event. Please check your spam folders as well since I sent a bunch of very similar mails in a short period of time. If you did not receive a mail by now, let me know asap. Last year there were some issues with my yahoo mail account (some people would not receive mails from the account) and I needed to use a backup account of a different mail provider for some of the mails. So, do not panic if you did not receive your mail. Just message me and I’ll send you the mail from a different mail account again. 

If you have indeed received your mail, feel free to start messaging your assigned gift-receiver immediately. The ‘official’ start of the event is on monday (23/11) and you need to have messaged your assigned gift-receiver at least once until the first of Decemeber (and at least once a week in the following time). Also another reminder, to open your ask box and enable anonymous messages if you have not doen so already !

Sign-ups are officially closed!

The biggest thank you to everyone who joined this event this year ! Since tumblr seems less active lately, I truly did not expect such a great participation and I couldn’t be happier. I can officially say, that we got around the same amount of participants as last year which I honestly did not think would be possible to achieve again and which makes me incredibly happy.

I’ll start matching everyone up asap and hopefully will be sending out emails around the 20th of November. If you got any questions until then, you should check out the information page of the event and the faq tag of the blog. And if there are any questions or concerns left, feel free to message me ! If you missed the deadline by a few days and STILL WANT TO JOIN, feel free to message me and I might be able to still squeeze you in !

Just stopping by to wish you all a happy new year sorry if it’s not past midnight for you yet agdshaj I hope 2021 will bring only joy and happiness to all of you  💙

As I said in my previous post, I’m in contact with all the secret santas who did not deliver their presents yet and I’ll keep you all updated about the event ! Don’t worry if you did not receive your present yet, I promise you that it is on it’s way and as always, I’ll make sure that everyone who created a present will receive a present as well !

The event has officially started !

It’s monday which means that the DCMK secret santa event 2020 has officially started ! I can’t wait to see everyone interact with their secret santa and I hope we will all have a great time together. Please message me immediately, if you did not receive a mail from me by now. Also another reminder that you need to have messaged your assigned gift-receiver at least once until the first of December (and at least once a week afterwards). 

Also, please do not ignore my messages if I contact you on tumblr about any issue. It’s just rude to me and makes my life harder. People will be banned from the event if they ignore my messages permanently.

Quick Little Update

I’m still working on matching everyone up but everything is going well so far ! I should be able to send out mails around the 20th of November but I’ll let you know once I start sending them out. I’m super excited and can’t wait to get the event started. Also just a little reminder to please message me if you already know that you won’t be able to participate in the event anymore !
