A tasty burger with flavors of Korean bulgogi, served with rice and eggs for a new take on an old favorite.
Ingredients: 1 lb ground beef. 1/4 cup soy sauce. 2 tbsp sugar. 2 cloves garlic, minced. 1 tsp ginger, minced. 1 tbsp sesame oil. 1 tbsp mirin. 1 cup cooked rice. 2 eggs. 4 burger buns. Lettuce leaves. Sliced onions. Sliced tomatoes. Sliced cucumber. Mayonnaise. Sriracha sauce optional. Salt and pepper to taste.
Instructions: To make the marinade for the beef bulgogi, put soy sauce, sugar, minced garlic and ginger, sesame oil, and mirin in a bowl. Blend the ground beef into the sauce well after adding it. For at least 30 minutes, let it sit. Make the rice and sunny-side-up eggs while the beef is marinating. Make burger patties out of the four pieces of beef that have been marinated. Set the grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Add salt and pepper to the burger patties and cook them until they're done the way you like them. You can grill or toast the burger buns until they are just barely browned. Start by putting a lettuce leaf on the bottom half of each bun. Then add a beef patty, sliced onions, tomatoes, and cucumber. If you want, you can drizzle it with mayonnaise and sriracha sauce. Put a sunny-side-up egg on top of each burger and cover it with the other half of the bun. Enjoy the beef bulgogi burgers with cooked rice on the side.
