Jealous Newt Headcanons

I promised these before my hiatus, and boy has it been a while! Sorry it took so long but here are my jealous Newt headcanons! 

- Newt doesn’t get jealous easily, he’s rather oblivious to others flirting with you, but when he does notice he can barely control himself. 

- He’ll try to steer the conversation away from you, almost as a warning. 

- If someone gets close he’ll take your hand as if to show dominance. 

- Sometimes, if you don’t notice the flirting, he’ll get pouty. You’ll find him in his case later, angrily sorting pellets, but it never takes long for you to coax out of him whats wrong. 

- A kiss from you always makes it better. He’ll smile and be reassured that you’re his and only his, and that you have no interest in anyone else. 

- Once or twice you’ve caught Newt casting a harmless spell to blow wind in the face of those who flirt with you. You always pretend you didn’t notice.

Drunk Newt Headcanons

So since everyone seemed to like the first list, I’ve brought you another one! Like/Reblog/Follow for more! Requests open!

- Newt rarely gets drunk but when he does he gets smashed.

 - He tends to drink Firewhiskey, even though he hates how it burns his throat.

 - His confidence is boosted when he’s drunk. His awkwardness melts away completely, and he goes from being slightly cocky (at best) to downright full of himself- but in a sexy kind of way.

 - Flirtation levels rise significantly, though the finesse of the flirtation goes waaaay down. 

 - Newt + Alcohol = overprotective Newt 

- One time he got drunk, went down into his case, and cried for an hour over ‘how beautiful his babies are.' 

 - He likes to wrap his arms around your waist and kiss your neck when he’s drunk. He’ll pull you into his lap and growl if you move too much. Alcohol brings out an animalistic side of him. 

 - Hungover Newt is droopy eyed and drinks a lot of tea.

- He always swears off drinking, and manages to stay away for a few weeks or a month, but then he’ll pull off a daring rescue of an endangered creature and fuck it- it’s party time.

Hogwart’s Newt Headcanons

-          In the yearbook, Newt’s picture shifts awkwardly and gives a half smile when it moves.

-          You introduce Newt to a muggle pen. He develops a habit of chewing on the end of it when he’s deep in thought, or nervous.

-          When he gets upset, he retreats to the Owlry and spends time with the birds. You can always tell when he’s been there, as he comes back covered in shed feathers and bird poop.

-          In the middle of the night you hear a loud ‘pssst!’ at the end of your bed. Newt has somehow managed to sneak into the girls’ dorm, and is holding something that looks like a lizard with fur. This happens often enough for you to know you have to help him out. You spend the next hour running through the forbidden forest to a poorly crafted hut where he keeps all his rescued animals.

-          He accidentally singes his eyebrows off due to a potions mishap, and you spend the next month charming them on for him. When that doesn’t work, you buy a good old fashioned eyebrow pen and draw them on.

-          When he trusts you enough, you’re invited to spend winter break at his home. His mother takes an immediate liking to you due to your good relationship with the Hippogriffs

newt is transgender but isnt very dysphoric about his lower half, although originally the idea to get tattoos on his chest was to cover his scars (lots of trans guys do that)
