Got some new shoes on the Grey Goose 😁. I picked up the @yokohamatire Geolander AT on sale at the Nissan Dealership. What a week

Not sure why ucky, crappy things have been thrown at me the past few days. Could it be that the universe is testing me? I'm heading up to my first ever SPN Con tomorrow and it seems something is trying to put obstacles in my way. I let hubby drive my car on Sunday to run errands; Monday I have a flat tire. I fill it up on the way to work, and it's low by a few psi at the end of the day. Tuesday evening and I'm getting the tire looked at. Turns out it can be fixed, but (there's always a but) there's a 'bubble' for lack of a better word on the inside sidewall of the tire. It was explained to me that that happens when you run over something and it rubs the tire. However it happened, it's a weakness that eventually could lead to a blowout. So, two new tires later I'm heading home. FYI, I replaced the other two tires about two weeks ago due to a nail. It's not been my month for tires.

Also, there is a small chance my car is possessed. After filling the flat tire yesterday, i get back in the car and the onboard navigation system starts giving me directions to New York State. I did not tell it to give directions. I pulled the map up and thats it... I kid you not, it wanted to take me to Cloverfield lane.

To top it off, it's rainy where I live and for some reason, when it rains here, no one can remember how to drive and they all seem to lose their ever loving minds.

But, despite all that, my excitement of attending SPNDC has overcome everything I've encountered this week, and I can barely keep my grin in check. It's also hard to concentrate on work, but I am trying.
