Uncle Luke -- @newxhope
“I did this for you!” He yelled. Turning to the dark side, fighting as a champion of the First Order, it was all for a reason. “I did it to protect you. I can’t afford to lose anyone else. Do you understand?”

“There’s something you’ve been hiding from me.” Rey knew that he was not telling her everything, she could FEEL it in the force. It was a big secret and she NEEDED to know. “You refuse to tell me for my ‘own good,’ but I feel it calling to me through the FORCE. Please...”
“Look, kid. Not a word of this to your sister, ok?” he said sternly, rubbing some bacta salve over the blaster burn on his arm and then slapping a bandage over it. “She’s got enough t’ worry about already. Far as she knows, this all went to plan, no injuries. Got it?”

He could feel a familiar presence getting closer to where he was slumping on the grass, but his eyes remained on the dark horizon before him. A beat, and he finally to look at his father, his voice weary as he said, “I wasn’t trying to sneak out this time. Don’t worry.” No doubt the old man thought that he just might.
“Seriously though, what happened, Luke? I didn’t think I’d grow up to be so grumpy. Don’t worry. I already got Kylo’s story. I mean yeah, he Force chocked me and took away my lightsaber, but we’ve been doing pretty good lately. I think I’m getting close to him calling me Uncle Luke. Maybe the calming circles have been helping.”

Everything had gone wrong. Everything he thought was wrong. His uncle had been right but Ben wasn’t going to allow that to be known. The last thing that the young male wanted was to give his uncle the satisfaction of knowing that he had been right. The only reason he was here was to confront the man he knew as his uncle. Of course he didn’t expect much but he was’t here to make this better he wasn’t here to make it okay with anyone just to let his own feelings be known and maybe get some answers.
Ben Solo, aka Kylo Ren, had taken a ship from the First Order in order to get away from him. He wanted nothing more than to get away because he didn’t want to die but had no idea where else to go. This was the one place he thought to find his uncle. The ship wasn’t something he cared about, just something he had access too. As he landed the beauty of the planet caught his eyes and he took it all in. He may be a monster but he could still appreciate the natural beauty before him.
Bringing the ship in for a landing he sighed and steeled himself for what would lie ahead of him. Grabbing the lightsaber that was his, the red one with the cross guard he turned the ship off and make his way out. Walking down the ramp he looked down at the ground that he now stood on and then began to look around for the man he was here to see.

Starkiller Base is gone. His father with it. Everything Kylo worked for in pursuit of fulfilling his grandfather’s legacy just crumbled to pieces. He felt the call to the light again. Han Solo is dead, Kylo thought, why am I still being pulled to the light?
He sat in the medical bay and looked around. There were no living creatures around him. Just various medical droids throughout the cold, harsh, mechanical room. He got up and left the room, despite the droids’ pleas to keep him there until he was fully healed up.
Stormtroopers guarded the door. “Get my ship ready. Now,” Kylo demanded. They did as they were ordered, and five minutes later, Kylo was headed towards the hangar bay where his ship was being kept.
Several officers asked why he was leaving as he headed for his ship, but Kylo had no desire to tell anyone where he was going. Not even Supreme Leader Snoke. He climbed into his TIE Silencer, disabled his tracking device, and swiftly left the Destroyer.
Kylo sat in his ship as he watched the Star Destroyer sit idly as they attempted to hail the Silencer. Crying, he refused to respond. He knew where he was going. And he knew he had no intention on letting the First Order know where he had gone. He was defecting from the Order.
He set the course to a planet named Ach-To. He admittedly never heard of it, but he knew that’s where he needed to go. Upon his arrival, the pull to the light had overwhelmed him. Although he feels differently than he did a day ago, he found what he had been longing for . And he stood mere feet away from Kylo’s face. He began crying as he called out to his uncle, “I need your guidance.”

A sigh left her lips, her shoulders slumping a little more. The word ‘discouraged’ crossed her mind, and she quickly decided that was an understatement. “Maybe I’m not supposed to be good at this,” Leia finally stated, a slight frown lingering on her lips. “You make it look so easy... what if I can never do it?” That wasn’t something she liked to think about. Once she started something, she always found herself determined to master it, but this was different than anything else she had tried to learn before. Maybe she wasn’t meant to succeed.
