Loft bed legs

The left bed plods slowly along, progress occurring when my free time aligns with decent weather. Anyway, here I have the four bed legs dimensioned and clamped together to begin machining the notches for the crosspieces. I got started with a 2" straight bit in my router but after a few passes I realized that the router base isn’t wide enough to have anything to rest on to finish the middle portion of the notches. So next I need to build a custom baseplate out of some ¼" plywood to support the tool over the gap. Once that’s done I can get back to the notches. I made a story stick for the first time to (that's it sitting on top) and it's been a big help with layout. Thanks Norm.
