With work and the near-impossible sleep-schedule she had developed, her poor pup almost never got to go out. Isa lacked the energy to do much more than feed, bathe, and let the sweet girl go in and out for potty breaks. Luckily, the dog was already attached to her and would nap without a fuss whenever Isa was exhausted, which was often.
The rain had cleared up and it was her free day, perfect for an outing. She whistled and patted her knees, the puppy rousing from her rest. “Guess what, Baby?” The dog tilted it’s head and wagged it’s tail, excited. “We get to go play in the park today, how’s that sound?!” A happy bark answered her question. Isa clipped the leash onto her red bowed collar and they were off. They didn’t get very far before bumping into a stranger who asked nicely to pet the husky. “I think she’d like that, actually. Go ahead!” She replied with a smile.
