I tell everyone that I teach weapon defense to that it’s better to comply and get away, hopefully, versus trying to be a hero. However, if you feel you absolutely have to “go for it,” from this position this is a simple and effective takeaway. Keep in mind that in a 1 minute video it’s extremely difficult to cover the necessary details to properly cover this option. Please understand that if someone wants to shoot you or punch you or stab you etc, they will, when someone uses a weapon of any kind to control you or manipulate you to get something, like a wallet, usually compliance is the best. In the end, your safety and your loved ones is all that matters so if by complying you feel things will be over and all will be safe, do so. BUT, if you find yourself in this situation and “going for it” you feel is your option, then DISTRACT (usually through talking), FIND YOUR WINDOW OF OPPORTUNITY (their eyes wonder etc) & GO FOR IT! When something bad happens, that's when most run out and invest in those things they should've invested in a long time ago. Like I told my LTC Sunday, I can't go onto Amazon and order another Michael, I have to protect myself because there are no more for a replacement. What is your life worth?
