- Sometimes Ney gets really lonely. There happen to be a lot of days where his family and friends are busy and Davi is with his mother and Ney gets tired playing games online and on his PlayStation. So he likes driving to Luis’ house, knocking on his door, and just walking in before Luis can put in a word. Not that Luis would say Ney wasn’t allowed inside. Whether Luis’ kids were there or not, or if Sofi there, Luis always lets him in. If they were alone, they either end up tangling up in the sheets, or drink some cocoa together and talk about their childhoods. When the kids and Sofi are around, Ney plays with the kids or ends up talking with Sofi about the latest fashion while Luis watches with his mate.
- Luis has nightmares when he sleeps. Sometimes it’s about his childhood in Salto. About the bully he faced while trying to play some footballs on the streets. Other times it’s about missing a goal during a game. He sees the ball go way over the goal. And sometimes - he sees things happen to Ney, or to Sofi, or to his kids. And yeah, sleep is hard for him. Ney got scared the first time he witnessed the restless fits Luis had while under the nightmares grasp. He shook Luis awake, he held Luis’ trembling hands, and he said softly, “I’m here. I’m here.”
- They always mess around with each other during training and before games. Neymar likes jumping on Luis’ back, flicking Luis’ forward, or even handing Luis chewed gum. Luis takes it all in stride because he does some things too. He likes to pinch Ney’s ears, kick the ball away from Ney, even pokes Ney’s sides to make the younger man giggle.
