I haven't seen a lot of people talk about this but Nezko and Daki's foil for eachother is the most obvious when they cry. A lot of people have called Dakis cry/scream "annoying"or like a "tea kettle" while also calling Nezkos cry "cute". And they are MASSIVELY missing the point. Both of these charcters are essentially children forced into Adult situations. The most obvious aspect of this is Daki being the highest ranking prostitute for generations, despite receiving her demon powers roughly at the same age nezko did. And Nezko having to take the role of what's essentially a wepon in life or death situations, being targeted by both demons and demon slayers alike. They aren't the sexy/overlypowerful/grown women their transformations make them appear to be... they're children. Teens who suffered through EMENSE tragedy to the point that they have to rely heavily on there older sibling to balance the weight of. That cry they let out wasnt ment to be "attractive", it was ment to show just how much both of them are holding back. They're kids. They're just kids. They were never ment to go through this kind of life.
