get out of here en...this is a book series that i am constantly furious about1) I personally would have liked it finished…All the more to drag, y’know? An applicable critique could also be that it’s a very far-fetched, drawn out affair that goes through so many settings, narrators, sub-plots and arcs that you as a reader lose all personal investment (and sometimes all order of events). Having it trail off with the release of the finale going missing and everything is a bit ://///////// on top of that…2) richard. richard. dick. dickon. Sweet summer child. I empathised with you. I rooted for you. I couldn’t wait for you to make a correct choice for once, to surpass all the prejudice and brainwashing - and that’s how you replay A̶l̶v̶a̶ me???? Sent him to Heckberg so that Valdez aka Alva: Beginners addition can take care of him, send him to the Sauvignacs - anywhere else where he’ll be an Idiot Ball in good trustworthy hands. Give the author a real-life punching bag instead, at the very least. Smh. 3) Having Alva sleep with every female character is redundant. Trying to pigeonhole Alva into Badass Slightly Insane Casanova is redundant. There’s a lot of instances where fanon Alva brings him out as impulsive, ridiculously intelligent, thoroughly insane and 110% done, and that’s what I think of when I think Alva. 4) Moro deserved better, Moro is the true hero of the narrative. Can horses go to the Labyrinth when they die? I hope he’s there now. I hope Richard finally made a Good Decision in his life and went back to Alva in said Labyrinth…5) OK BUT. Alva read the books. Alva knew the legends. Alva, if anyone, sat down and studied Galtara more than anyone. He /knew/ what the sword did. I refuse to believe he didn’t instantly Know the moment he picked it up??? And if he did, I refuse to believe that he wouldn’t take some kind of action to follow up the knowlegde???? idk.
