🎇🐈‍⬛️ Hearing a christian talk about how she ever only used religion to comfort a girl who vented to her every week was ear grating. .-. Do you realize how much that is going to hurt her in the long run? That her mental health was used as just a step for your goal of converting more people or keeping people in the church? When that girl realizes that, I can only hope she doesn't care as much as I do. She said "the girl told me one day she preferred her life before religion, so I told her to keep eating trash; that the only difference was that she didn't know it was trash before converting, now she'll know what it is and still choose to eat it. God is giving her a banquet, but she yearns for the trash she was eating off of before, because of how used she is to listening to the devil's voice" IF SHE WANTS TO LEAVE YOUR RELIGION, LET HER .-. DON'T BE FORCEFUL, PUSHY AND SHAME HER. SHE is more important than the religion!!! What the heck! The worst thing is that she said their teacher recommended the girl to speak to the Christian girl about this, and they probably tought they were in a Christian movie or something but no that teacher was overstepping professional boundaries. That girl was probably feeling the effects of religions dominating your whole identity, said she preferred how it was before (and theres nothing wrong with that), and instead of listening to her this goody-two-shoes shamed her for rightfully analyzing the state of her life and assessing what she wanted out or in. It's making me fucking sad. Most Christians don't even care abt people, they just see everyone as these poor dumb beans victimized by the devil. They see gay or poly people in love, they shake their heads saying it's a sin. Goddamnit I'm sorry I hate people like that.

Especially after knowing Shintoism and how LIGHT it makes my family members feel. Know what Shintoism doesn't have? The concept of sin or solid dogmas. It just teaches you to respect nature and objects and stay in touch with the world in general, because everything has a soul—oftentimes wiser than you, but doesn't want to own you or anything. Just exists, lives.
