● — || @nghtfury sent : the night fury is currently rolling around in the snow, leaping through the banks when katara finds him. he warbles contentedly, tongue hanging out of his mouth as a mountain of snow sits on his head. he blinks at her slowly, shaking the snow off of his head as he bounds over excitedly, tail blowing waves of snow in his wake as he comes to a stop in front of her.
● — || Katara had been wandering around her home , making sure that if she practiced her bending , it would be where she wouldn't cause any harm to anyone . She had a spot that she liked to to -- tucked between snowy mountains and her village . As always , she told Sokka where she was going so that , if he [ [ n e e d e d ] ] her , he didn't have to look far , then headed on her way .
She'd done this many times . At this point , nothing was new to her . . . Except , that when she rounded the corner , her blue eyes widened at the creature rolling around in the snow . She'd never seen anything like him ! He was playful , like the otter penguins , but much , [ [ m u c h ] ] bigger than an otter penguin . Judging by how he looked at her , Katara could tell that he wasn't any danger , but she still approached him cautiously .
❝ H-Hey , little . . . dragon ? ❞ She looked at his wings , then his face covered in snow . Something about his personality made Katara smile beyond all measure . He was going to be her new friend , she could tell .
Seeing how he liked snow , Katara got an idea . ❝ You really like snow , huh ? Umm . . . Here ! Watch this . ❞ She planted her feet on the ground , then moved her hands so that she could bend the snow around them . With a few carefully planned swishes of her hands , Katara made the snow cover above him , then slowly started to fall like little snowballs of rain . She made sure they fell slow , so that he could catch them on his tongue .
