The amazing work of @dswt ❤️#trunkupwines ・・・ Today was another milestone day at the DSWT: Ngilai, Godoma, and Murit graduated from the Nursery to our Voi Reintegration Unit! They follow in the footsteps of their friends Mbegu, Ndotto, and Lasayen, who made the same move from Nairobi to Tsavo East. National Park just two days ago. Upon arrival, the trio was immediately enveloped by the Voi herd and escorted down to the mud bath for an inaugural wallow. This is just the beginning of their journey back to a life in the wild, and they may spend several years at Voi until they are fully ready to transition from our care, but it is a momentous step for these elephants.
