I want to be happy that the Islanders won but I’m also upset that the Flyers lost. Why do my favorite teams have to go against each other already?? Like tomorrow Detroit vs. Chicago, that’s a perfectly good match up because it’s a no brainer who I want to win. But doing this to me this early in the season especially preseason is just messing with my emotions.

I swear life likes to torment me in so many ways. I gave up watching the Wings game (probably a stupid decision especially now) to watch the game between the Flyers and Pens. Like Flyers WTF are you doing out there?? I didn’t get excited all day just for this. I think I’m going to save myself heartbreak at least tonight and watch the rest of the Wings game and just find out the final score of the Flyers/Pens. This was not at all a bashing post in any way, shape, or form. Just an opinion or venting about how I feel my personal luck sucks.

Why do the Red Wings have to play the Stars already? They couldn’t wait until later in the season to put me through the torture of watching two of my favorite teams going head to head 😒 Well today should definitely be interesting 🏒

Red Wings win the season opener!! Now onto the Home Opener tomorrow where two of my favorite teams are going against each other 🤦‍♀️🏒
