My value as a writer is not measured by how fast I post. My worth is not defined by kudos, bookmarks, or comments.

I am allowed to be slow. I am allowed to rest. I am allowed to write for joy, not for an algorithm.

17 Year Old Andrea (Andie) Cody, a daughter, a sister- a twin at that, a niece and an adult before 16 according to the State of California. Being as book smart as she is street smart, she manages to graduate high school at 11 and complete her undergraduate studies by 15.

When a call shatters her world at 17 she’s left with some decisions to make. Completely move and start over in a different place or make amends with her estranged family that her mom kept her and her brother away from for their own good?
