Top surgery questions 🔪🔪
Okay so I have a few questions about the recovery from chest surgery (preferably looking for answers from people in the UK who have had surgery and particularly through NHS. But any answers will be a great help from anyone who has had Double Incision surgery with nipple graft)...
Question 1: How long after surgery are you able to be up and moving around instead of laying down constantly?
Question 2: How long after surgery do you start to feel better in yourself and not feel too grouchy and achy?
Question 3: How long after the procedure do you have to wear a compression on your chest?
Question 4: How long does it usually take to have your post op appointment to see the results etc?
And finally.. Question 5 (if anybody has been in a similar situation): My surgery date is 14th August 2018 and I am due to fly out to Ibiza for a family wedding on September 1st 2018. And I'm just worried they wouldn't let me fly out before 3-4 weeks post op.
If anyone has any personal experience they can tell me about so it eases my mind maybe and stops the panic, that would be amazing.
