That awkward moment when Niall is doing a radio interview and one of the questions is as follows...
Niall talks about how he’s writing some new stuff. Then,
Radio hosts: It’s funny actually because we were chatting to Shawn Mendes the other day and he was saying, before he dares release anything, he gives it the “Camila treatment”. He plays it to her first, if she loves it, great. Do you have anyone like that you go to? Is it your misses? Is it your mates?
Niall: *embellished throat clearing* Eh heh, Shawn! *Niall’s cute loud laugh like only Niall can do*

Niall really has strong feelings about “Cross Your Mind”. He quotes that same lyric every time he brings that song up. 🥺

I like to have concepts. That's the way I like to write. So I have my, like, leather bound book ~chuckles~ and um, I will write concepts at the back of it and write the lyrics at the front of it. So, That's why I like to have a story, 'cos when you're writing with someone else a story, or a good detailed story, always helps with what the next lyrics going to be so it's, um, that's the way I like to write.
