Nik rolled his eyes -- but he was a good mood, so when he scoffed it ended up coming out a sort of chuckle. "You're being weird today," he told her half-jokingly, shaking his head as he looked back to her. "You're not so bad when you smile either, though."

"You shouldn’t even begin to talk," Antoinette said jabbing her finger into his collarbone. "You need to do the same! She’s not a child anymore, she’s safe now. You both are. I get you’re her brother but, christ." The blonde breathed out, she needed to be harsh with him in order to get through. "Nik, she’s trying to do something for herself now. Let you know she can take care of herself. That you don’t have to do that for her anymore. If anyone needs to be taken care of now, it’s you."

"Why are you taking so long?" Nik asked, arms crossed.

"Perfection take time!" She called out from her room, it took a bit before she actually stepped out and posed in front of the doorway. "Tah dah, if you're jealous I don't blame you."
