It seems like she'll bring him home in the bag, totally trusting him, and then after they sleep together, he'll prove to be too much of an asshole to actually stick around for a couple of hours.
Some Boys Don’t Leave (2009)
Andrew Garfield and his many looks during TASM 2 press tour
"No, I really don’t understand why people do the things they do." Moving just a little away from the female so they didn’t actually touch. "If you touch me …. just don’t do that."
"People, you humans are selfish and it hurts my nose. Bumping into you would be me seeing every bad thing you’ve ever done hows that?"
She stopped where she was, giving the boy a curious look. "I wasn't planning on it. And I'm not trying to say some people aren't awful, either. But you can't just say ..." She cut herself off, seeming to just process the last thing he'd said. "I don't even know half of what you'd see. But, I -- what about the things that were done to me? Wouldn't those count for anything in this?"
“Good point. Alright, I’m not worried about it anymore. Which is good, because I really just want to have a good time tonight. I’m in desperate need of it. So! Enough with the moody bartender. Let’s have fun. Yes?”
"Good." She gave a short laugh. "Yes. We can get on with having fun. It's what we're here for after all! One weird glare isn't going to be enough to ruin our night."
"It doesn’t smell the same but my head is ringing. Sin is sin and the more someone sins at least for me it’s just as overpowering." His eyes growing annoyed when he looks at her. "How would you like it if you could see other peoples deepest darkest secrets?"
At first Mirna wasn't sure how to respond, folding her arms around herself almost defensively. "I don't -- I don't know, but if you can see those things then shouldn't you understand what's making people do those bad things to begin with?"
"Lying, killing, just sinning in general? Can’t you just all be civil."
"You’re all giving me a headache, my training obviously isn’t working."
"Don't try to tell me lying and killing are in the same category."
"I'm just trying to get by. That's as much as most people are trying to do."
"Take off. It aint loitering if you’re havin’ a smoke."
"...Working on potentially having lung cancer counts as a valid reason for standing around?"
"People please, just stop sinning around me." Leaning against a wall talking to himself while his head throbbed. That was the mistake of being anywhere near anyone on a Friday night.
"Wait, I...?" She paused, only seeming to just notice his reaction. "Um, what exactly did I do wrong?"
"So -- loitering is the thing when people just stand around for no real reason right?" { She's referencing the no loitering sign behind you and thinks she's being clever. }
“Maybe I remind him of someone he doesn’t want to be reminded of. Who knows? But if he spits in my drink? We will have words.”
"That'd be grounds for a serious talking to, at that. For all he knows we're surprise health inspectors. There's no way contaminating drinks with his spit would end if that were the case."
"Why don’t I believe you? You do get your kicks from worrying about me, after all.”
"They're not kicks. I worry about you 'cause I like spending time with you when you're not out tempting fate to get in serious trouble. Having to worry is the least fun part of it."
