I remember you said you were scared (and so I was I) - chapter 1
Blitz had never liked hospital visits- never going unless he was actively on death’s door, and some would say even past that.
So needless to say he had scared the feathers off of Stolas when he murmured he wanted to go to the hospital when he couldn’t take the pain anymore.
Stolas, mid-panic, stumbles to get a portal open to the hospital, hushing the imp softly in his arms as he escorted his beloved to the ER.
Blitz was currently scaring the everloving daylights out of the prince, trembling like a leaf in the wind, and being so quiet, when normally he would at least have a couple inneduos or a few sassy quips to say.
Stolas makes a scene, insisting on Blitz being seen, knowing that imps were often overlooked in the medical field, especially low status ones. “I demand you examine him.” He says loudly, his voice echoing throughout the emergency room, in his voice a tone of authority.
That made things go a bit faster, finally getting to the sickly imp, who had become so pale that the red part of his skin was almost pink.
“S-stols…” He murmurs weakly, the shakiness in his voice breaking Stolas’ heart.
“I’m right here, my love,” Stolas coos, trying to be soothing even when he’s scared out of his mind, his feathers ruffled from anxiety,
Blitz trembles, struggling to get the words out. “I-I…”
“Hush, darling…save your energy, you’re going to be okay…” Stolas says, although there’s a seed of doubt forming inside him.
Blitz’s glassy dark red eyes begin to flutter shut, finally succumbing to the exhaustion that had a hold of his body for the past few hours.
Stolas sighs shakily; he’s glad his beloved is getting a break from the pain, but he’s not so sure what’s going on and if it’s okay for Blitz to be sleeping just yet.
