Time to change, not a nice guy now
Just want to put it as note to myself.
I'm changing now, as I grow older as team-player, people are going to push their agendas, at times they will have to go over you. If you be nice guy again, it not going to work.
"Nice guys" term imo is the word used for people who do not take stand for themselves. I have been nice guys most of the times, but I think it has to change within me now. I have to start taking more for me now. It doesn't mean I wouldn't caring for people around me, it means atleast in *workplace* for starters will not be a yes-man or will not just allow people to stand over me.
Will try to help others but won't be stupid enough to make them stand on me. It would mean, I wouldn't be as nice of a guy, as I was. Used to help others before me, that has to change now.
As in flight they say, don't try to save others before you. Put your mask first and then help others. Have to start giving me a bit more priority now.
Let's see how changes go in life now.
"Nice guy syndrome"
Makes me sick to my stomach.
I never really understood the phrase "nice guys finish last" until I began to understand "nice guy syndrome"
Don't get me wrong, actual nice people, who are guys, are awesome. I have absolutely no issue with that whatsoever. I know quite a few myself. (Hint: Most guys are really nice. You just need to meet and hang out with the right people)
The problems comes when "nice guys" think they are better then every guy on the planet. Because they "know" that they're "so right for you", but you "can't see it".... meaning they're in denial and pissed you're not attracted to them. Some even go so far to think that they "deserve" you because they're been such a good friend to you. (me = what?!)
Now, I understand if you're upset that someone doesn't like you. I would be kinda upset too, but acting like a baby about it isn't going to change it.
She's not attracted to you. It's time to move on. Plenty of fish in the sea for you to ogle at.
And don't even try to make her feel bad about not liking you, because she probably already does (most people don't like the feeling of rejecting someone they care about or anyone for that matter). What I don't understand is why you want to to guilt someone into dating you. Do you want someone to date you out of pity? (lulz. This is about the only personal experience with "nice guy syndrome" I've had. Kinda ridiculous and awful b/c I felt really bad for rejecting him)
I could go on, but I'll restrain myself.
All I have to say is, be real, honest, and don't think you're better than everyone out there, because you're not. You're just like everyone else. Find someone who likes you for you and stop trying to chase girls who aren't into you.
(PS. My biggest "nice guy" pieve is: "No sex. I just want to cuddle" ... seriously makes me want to vomit. I like cuddling as much as the next person, but don't act like sex is above you.)
/I'm sure there is some name for the female counter part of this, but I have no idea. They, of course, are viewed as much more crazy than the guys (mainly cause they can get a bit stalkerish at times)
There are always ways to try and save money and one of those ways is often overlooked by many homeowners and that would be property tax.
