it may be a longshot, but can you or any of your followers personally vouch for vernon’s annual autism walk? i’m planning on attending the coming weekend, but i want to make sure the walk isn’t sponsored/run by orgs with ill intent. i can’t find any ties to autism speaks’ canadian branch but i may not be looking in the right places.

yeah he also faced a lot of ableist hate too because he was/is openly autistic. he's a genuinely sweet guy, i drew fanart for him once. and i think it's kind of in poor taste to refer to his oc as a 'fat fetish character' since i think he's just a fat person in real life and wanted his sona to reflect that. ultimately a terrible time overall. he's active on tumblr (he's @/samael here).

im full of fun facts but asked on the spot and i have nothing. ok wait i thought of one. Fun fact: theres been multiple instances (Two) of these little octopus cities? where octopodes* live in very close vicinity, which is weird for octopodes, as they are not very social. theres even been instances of them basically evicting each other from their dens. theres also been instances of them?? throwing projectiles?? possibly purposefully at their peers? so thats pretty epic. heres a video about one of the cities, octlantis and heres an article about it. and heres another one.
*another fun fact nestled within this one is that octopi is wrong bc the word does not in fact originate from latin, but from greek (octopus is a latinized form of the greek word oktopous, whew), making the correct plural form octopodes. you can also just say octopuses since its also technically correct but why say that when you can just this its very fun please add octopodes to your vocabulary
