Stiles’ hand was in Leah’s, her thumb running over his knuckles. Softly grinning to himself, he turned into the parking lot.

“Do you ever think about how we got here?” Leah asked aloud, looking at Stiles.

“Uh, we drove here.” Stiles raised his eyebrows at her, Leah scoffed.

“No, I meant, here. Us.” Leah paused, “A few months ago, we couldn’t be within three feet of each other.” Stiles raised his eyebrows and nodded in agreement,

“You never knew?” Leah asked, tilting her head to the side, “You never knew how much I liked you?”

“Obviously not.” Stiles sighed, getting a small smile from Leah. She raised their hands up so she could kiss the top of his hand.

“Strange.”

A loud roar echoed through the night and Natalia clapped her hands over her ears, cringing at the noise. When all fell silent, she slowly opened her eyes, let her hands drop from her head and looked up.

A few feet in front of her, she saw Scott standing in the middle of the street. His eyes were bright red, almost pulsing with rage. His claws and fangs were protruding and his chest rose and feel rather quickly. Never more in that moment had Scott looked more like the werewolf he was.

Natalia took a few steps forward to close the gap between Scott and her. Slowly, she raised her hand up, letting it rest against his cheek. Her heart beat steady and her eyes stayed locked on his until the red dissolved into the warm brown she had become accustomed to.

“Scott, hey.” Natalia came into Scott’s line of vision. She was a bit blurry, but Scott could tell it was her, “Look at me, focus on me.”

Scott blinked twice, getting his vision to clear and Natalia to come into full view. He quickly startled as he remembered what happened.

“Wher—where are they? Where are we?” He quickly asked.

“It’s okay, we’re okay.” Nat pressed her hand against Scott’s chest, “We’re okay.” She gave him a warm smile.

“We’re okay?” Scott repeated Nat’s statement, a little unsure.

“We’re okay.” Nat reassured him, that warm smile still on her face.

Slowly, at the sight of Natalia and the sound of her voice, the uneasiness began to fade and Scott began to feel a little calmer.
