[Nick is waiting for Marilyn and Monty to come off shift, and so is spending the time in the bar. He’s already rattled off a few dart games and pool, which he’s become locally known in the bar for.]

[However he didn’t expect the face of John House to be at the bar which he visited today. He debated partly for interacting with him, before grumbling, and sitting himself down beside him on a stool.]

M’assuming you’re Johnathan House. Marilyn Wilson’s dad, Nicholas.

[He offered a handshake.]

[John is sitting at the bar, he's sipping a beer. It seems like it isn't his first one of the late evening as he's watching whatever sport is going on the tv placed on the corner, his gaze is fixed on it but his mind is deep in his thoughts.

John looks over at Nicholas beside him, he's surprised and suspicious for a moment, he didn't expect to be interrupted tonight. He's already a bit tipsy as he extends his hand too and shakes Nicholas' with a firm grip, before placing it back around his mug. He takes another gulp of his beer, already halfway through it.]

John is fine. I heard from my wife we're going to be fathers-in-law [He let out a sharp fake laugh, clearly unamused] as that would ever happen
