My "Good Friday" was one of those memorable NYC nights in the springtime adventures filled with music, friends, celebration and connection. I started out at @zo3hree5ive & @tallblackguyproductions new album #Expansions show featuring the always dope @borabond and surprise performances by the fabulous @ghettofalsetto and @bemyfiasco! Along with bassist @oldsoulmusic_ and drummer @jonlaine, the show was a funky-good-time-perfect-mix of their new songs and fan favorites. Y'all did that!
If you haven't heard "Expansions" go listen, then buy it, then check their tour schedule and plan to catch them live.

Next was an impromtu bite and long over-due catch up with some of my fave fellow music heads @enarepy @tameka_green & James. It was great seeing y'all!
My final stop was @jamaalbowmanny 's 50th B'earthday celebration, and oh what a party THAT was!!! It was so good to see so many of NYC's most dedicated and dilligent organizers and public servants enjoying a much-deserved moment of fun, especially while Jamaal took the mic and rhymed a few Hip Hop classics. The BX and Harlem were definitely in the building and I met quite a few cool folks. Shout out to the one and only @djmellstarr, who kept the dance floor packed and rocking from beginning to end (which I hadn't planned on but stayed until 😆).
Yeah, it was a great only in NYC night indeed!
