This article features lots of sympathetic whining from the author of the article about the plight of innocent, noble gawker and their brave journalists who fought for the freedom to publish whatever stupid shit they wanted without consequence.

The author conveniently leaves out gawker’s lengthy history of being a seedy tabloid that thrived on gossip, internet drama it started, and it’s countless outright slanderous and false accusations.
