no but Soulless Jack and Nick just make sense to me. Jack who literally is just doing what he perceives as a good thing and can be easily manipulated into just killing innocents for the sake of “In heaven, it’ll be better for them” and Nick who is so bloodthirsty because of Lucifer, that he would pretend to be normal for Jack, to try and prove that he isn’t just Lucifer, but he was a real dad, promising Jack that he would be there for him, even though he’s just using him as a weapon.

"I'd walk through fire and hell for you," he tells Nick eight months after they started.... whatever this is between them.

"I wouldn't ask you to," Nick's holding him extra tight, not willing to let go. He likes laying in Nick's arms. He's comfortable. It feels like home.

"I'd do it without you asking." It's a simple enough statement. He's not sure what he's feeling, but he knows it's big. Something more than lust, more than desire. Maybe it is love. He's not sure.

"Good to know. I'd go through hell for you. Fire might be a bit much," Nick's chuckle is warm and deep and pressed into his skin where Nick's tucked his face.

He thinks about it for a second. Perhaps it is. But it doesn't make it less than true. "Mmmmhmmm," he mumbles, trying to snuggle closer. If it was possible, he'd crawl into Nick and live there. He's always so warm. So inviting. "Maybe a little. But it's still the truth. I'm not sure what this is, you and me, but I know if I didn't have it, I'm not sure the last few months would have been as fun."
