I’ve had this little ceramic piece for ages--it used to have a plant growing in the palms, between the fingers....  i’ve always been attracted to hands and their expressive qualities...so i decided to finally sketch out a quick print of these hands, and as i post this i realize the juxtaposition of the 2 photos reflects just what the final block says, “as above, so below”

of course nothing is possible without Elmo’s approval and supervision...
