Another Transformers painting I made last year. My boy Fortress Maximus with the Master Sword, about to lay a beatdown on some bad ‘bots. It was tough to get a nice bright red on this one, I had to lay in a lot of colour.

I got myself a reissued Fortress Maximus for Christmas last year, and he’s the best. I love him.

Just had to draw something related to "Requiem of the Wreckers" comic that was announced the other day - I've only seen one image from it and I can already tell it's going to be a great final part to the Wreckers' trilogy. Here's my reinterpretation of an old #Transformers UK classic, issue 167, cover by Jerry Paris. 1. The original comic cover. 2. My first thumbnail - just to get it down on paper at all, basically. 3. My second (much better) thumbnail, where I changed things up a bit. Changed the rather static original to a more dynamic and action-packed shot. 4. My digital sketch, done in @autodesksketchbook, with mock-up cover elements (not visible because of cropping). This was fun, and I'll probably post further wip shots as I get further into the process of putting it to paper. #Transformers #RequiemOfTheWreckers #NickRoche @guido.guidi.arts @senior.geoff @dcjosh
